sometimes, when I’m writing someone an email and I need some information or I get interrupted I will ask them to ‘hold, please’ or ‘wait a second’, and tell them what I need to do, like we’re on the phone. Then I stop typing, do what I need to and then come back to the email. And I send it, as is. It makes me feel more connected to them, I guess. I’m odd.
