I finally saw Precious.
OhmyGodwhatagreatmovie. But I’ll probably never watch it again. It was too hard.
Very moving, very well done, ran more like a really involved documentary than a scripted film and I loved that about it.
Mo’Nique deserves every accolade she’s gotten, but the real star is Precious herself, Gabourey Sidibe. I saw an interview with her and she’s so very different than her character, but you’d never know it.
