So I finished season one of Supernatural. I think I may see what the hype is about - cute boys and things that only exist in nightmares. But eh.
I find Sam to be annoying, from his lisp to his attitude. Dean is hot, from his perfect nose to his attitude. Plus, he’s down with the swirl and looked like he banged the shit out of his (black) ex girlfriend in episode 13, which I dug. The music is awesome, I need to pick up the soundtracks if they’re available. The special effects are pretty hideous, it’s like Buffy: better when they stick to people in costumes. The story moves too slowly, 22 episodes and still almost nothing figured out is ridiculous. John is just aggravating with all his backtracking and secret keeping.
I’m going to watch all of it. It’s not bad, and it’s entertaining, I love the actual urban legends, ghost stories and historical folklore that they implement into the show, not just pulling shit out of thin air. I want to see where the story is going. Hopefully it’s going to get better because a lot of people are friggin’ rabid about it.
