It’s a definite long shot, but I am rooting SO HARD for John Hawkes to take home the Oscar for his performance in “Winter’s Bone”. The others were good, yes, but he was just captivating - and with very little dialogue. It was all in the presence, in his actions. He was just fantastic.

Woke up mad at the Oscars. Carey Mulligan was the true Best Actress, Sandra Bullock, pshaw. What a load of hooey. Inglourious Basterds had a better screenplay. Bullshit.
