this guy I know is on The Voice this season. I think he’ll go pretty far - especially since I’m pretty sure his Blind Audition was purposefully stifled. He’s a lot more Justin Timberlake than Andrea Bocelli - not in voice I mean, but in style and attitude. Excited to see what’s next for him.

New Tumblr Icon - I went to a “costumes required” Halloween party last night, but I didn’t dress up because I refuse to be ~sexy anything and I feel like I’m too fat to be anything but the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man but anyway I was like “well I’ll just paint my face, how IDK”. I woke up and figured that I should practice, because I’d never painted my face before and I had no idea what I was doing. So I started painting with the intention of going as half skeleton, with one side of my face and chest, and one hand painted (wearing long sleeves it’s cold as shit), and then thought “MARÍA! YOU’RE MEXICAN! YOU CAN BE A CALAVERA! BOOM!” And went to town.
Then, I saw that it had taken me over an hour to “practice”, thought about how hard clown makeup is to remove, said fuck it, and wore the makeup the entire day. Grocery shopping and everything. Freaked people out; it was awesome.
